I got home from the Con a little while ago.  Hung out & had dinner with some more friends from KY– Shannon & Billie– from the old days… (Jeez.  I never thought the 90s would be “the old days!”)…back when I drew the comic called “Amoeba Adventures.”  Many memories shared and enjoyed.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table this weekend and bought some digest books– or at least grabbed their complimentary mini-comic: every day is free mini comic day with Max Ink!
Please do me the favor (and the honor) to send me a letter to share your thoughts & feelings about Blink.  It will provide fuel for me to post more on this blog.

I just woke up after a good rest and a good Saturday at Mid-Ohio-Con. I sold quite a few books and handed out a few dozen free mini comics (Let It Be As It Is). If you’re reading this after having met me at the show, I’d like to personally thank you for taking the time to stop and read my book. (At least, I assume you read my book, otherwise how would you know to visit this site?) Thanks to all my friends who came out to the show. (Hey-ho Available Light Theatre and Sunday Comixers!) I’d also like to thank the fellas from Kentucky: Jonathan , Ken Minter and Chuck Moore. Jonathan is the coordinator for the Lexington Comics Creator Group. Ken is also a member of that group and damn funny guy (he’s a good artist to boot). Chuck is a whirlwind of energy (but he keeps it well hidden with his calm demeanor)– covering the show for his website, Comic Related. Finally, I’d like to offer a special thanks to Steve Peters for his company and friendship this weekend. If you’re not already read his comics, you really should.

Proud Papa InkAfter what seemed like a lifetime, I  FINALLY have (in my grubby oversized mitts) the newest Blink digest book… “Barefoot in America, Breakfast in the Park!”  I just got home from the copy shop (Office Max, of course) bicycling in the rain part of the way, riding the bus the rest.  Don’t worry– none of the books got wet.  I came prepared with a slew of water-tight plastic bags.

I’ll be selling these puppies at this year’s Mid-Ohio-Con and that’s where you can get your own mitts on `em!
Below is a little better image of the cover printed on “moss green” paper.

I know that I’ve been horribly bad at updating this site and I have a sinking suspicion that that’s not going to change anytime soon.  Maybe it will in the future… but I wouldn’t count on it.
