I’ve been subscribing to a variety of free music podcasts lately.
Then… on top of getting these songs delivered to my iTunes everyday, a few weeks ago, a friend of mine hipped me to elbo.ws.
Wow.
Now, I have not only been given a peek at some of this new music, I’ve become enamored by what seems to be a new band every week or so.
While I slowly build my awareness (and growing devotion) to these artists… It’s currently more imperative that I build my bank account so that I can
- be able to regularly print my comics
- move into a new apartment
- pay off my last lingering credit card debt
So I’m relegated to only be able to listen samples of these artists’ work. I would love to buy all their CDs, but I must be frugal… *sigh*
It takes me back to being in high school and borrowing LPs from the library and recording them on cassettes.
